Installation & Configurations

This guide will help you get started with Makli – The Little Vendor in 2 steps.

1. Install & Configure WP plugin (Makli).
2. Using Makli

Install & Configure WP plugin (Makli):

Installation of Makli is the same as any other WordPress plugin.

1. Log in to the WP site.
2. Navigate to Plugins > Add New > Upload.
3. Select the zip file from the downloaded package, i.e., PTSC-v.3.x.xx.zip
4. Click “Upload” and wait until the file is uploaded and extracted.
5. Click \”Activate Plugin.\”
6. Select the working mode that suits you and start using Makli.

Using Makli:

If you have successfully activated the WP plugin (Makli), then you can use it in three working modes.

1. 1. Display Only:
      Legacy mode, where Makli works in its minimal capacity and is used to display products. You can set optional links to connect with any eCommerce solution or affiliate system. To set services visible to clients, follow the following steps:
      1. Go to Makli > Services
      2. Add services by clicking on Add Services button.
      3. Enter service details and click save.
      4. Go to Makli > Widgets.
      5. Add a widget by clicking on Add Widget button.
      6. Select desired widget details and click save.
      7. Copy the newly created shortcode and set it on the page.
      8. That\’s All!!
   2. Display With WooCommerce:
      Dynamically fetch woo-commerce products to display them with Makli widgets. To display with WooCommerce, you can follow the following points.
      1. Go to WooCommerce Products > Add New.
      2. Enter Product details.
      3. Select the Makli Description tab in the product data and enter the product description.
      4. Publish the product.
      5. Go to Makli > Widgets.
      6. Add a widget by clicking on Add Widget button.
      7. Select a product from the WooCommerce option in product selection collapse.
      8. Select desired widget details.
      9. Enter WooCommerce products ids that you have created in step 1 and save.
      10-. Copy the newly created shortcode and set it on the page.
      11. That\’s All!!
   3. Display and Sell:
      The service/subscription selling solution for freelancers/ startups.
      1. Go to Makli > Services
      2. Add services by clicking on Add Services button.
      3. Enter service details and click save.
      4. Go to Makli > Widgets.
      5. Add a widget by clicking on Add Widget button.
      6. Select desired widget details and click save.
      7. Copy the newly created shortcode and set it on the page.
      8. Got to MAKLI > Settings > eCommerce Settings > and set the order page URL.
      9. You can set different things such as coupons, email templates and add client services, orders in Makli         Operations
      10. That\’s All!!
